Founded by Alan Calixto in 2020, Studio Munay specializes in corporate, hospitality and residential design. Alan began his design career at the award-winning New York firm A+I (Architecture + Information) while pursuing a Master’s in Interior Design at the Pratt Institute. He spent 12+ years designing a wide range of projects from financial hedge fund offices to tech workplaces to transforming real estate owners’ properties. He became A+I’s first Director of Interior Design and is considered an A+I legend.
As a recognized interior design leader, Alan has cultivated relationships with many design manufacturers who consult with him on their upcoming products. Alan is invited to their headquarters to tour their factories to get a deeper understanding of their manufacturing process and to evaluate their quality to the benefit of his clients.
