The Studio understands that the practicalities of our profession (schedule, budget, and even the size of a freight elevator) are just as important as the aesthetic -- be it in the office, restaurant or home.
FURNITURE SELECTION & Management
Studio Munay develops furniture layouts that stimulate productivity through flexible-seating arrangements, always understanding that the pieces we select reflect your company’s brand and culture. While furniture is the last thing that goes in a project schedule, it’s what clients have the most contact with. The Studio manages the selection and procurement process for architectural firms ensuring a satisfied client.
To keep our finger on the pulse of the furniture world, we attend furniture trade shows annually in Milan, Paris, Copenhagen, and Mexico City (to name a few) to see what’s new and inspiring to use on your project. In this way, we get to know furniture designers, industry mavens, and celebrate the conclusion of these shows with a round of Aperol Spritzes.
MATERIAL & FINISH SELECTION
Studio Munay makes the material and finish selection process less daunting. With years of knowledge and experience of materials and finishes, we walk each client through the selection process.
Studio Munay also consults with architectural firms who may not have an interior designer on staff, creating mood boards, material palettes, and producing finish schedules. We’ve guided many through the selection and documentation process with a seasoned understanding of lead times, availability, and pricing.
We know which materials and finishes work best while being sustainable, durable, and beautiful. The Studio is always on the lookout for new and innovative materials and is constantly engaged with our network of suppliers for the latest.
